Explore the pristine wilderness of Finnish Lapland by electric fatbike and search for free-roaming reindeer in their natural habitat. This full-day adventure around Levi combines active outdoor fun with peaceful Arctic scenery and a cozy wilderness lunch stop by the fire — a perfect balance of effort and enjoyment!

The tour begins with a pickup from Levi and a short transfer to the starting point at the edge of the wilderness. There, your guide will help you with bike and helmet fitting, followed by brief riding and safety instructions. Once everyone is ready, the adventure begins! After the ride, we return to the same departure point, and you’ll be transferred back to Levi village center.

Track Free-Roaming Reindeer in Lapland’s Wilds

Reindeer in Lapland live semi-wild and move freely through vast areas of forest, bog, and open fell. Our experienced guide will lead you to remote areas where reindeer are most likely to be found — with a 95% chance of spotting them during the tour. While these shy animals rarely allow humans to get close, you’ll have a great chance to observe and photograph them from a respectful distance.

Long Ride, Easy Effort – Thanks to Powerful E-Fatbikes

You’ll ride a Helkama FE12 electric fatbike, Finnish-made for tough terrain and equipped with a long-lasting 708Wh battery. Although the tour covers 40–50 km and includes frequent small uphill and downhill sections, the powerful motor and fat tires make the ride smooth, stable, and comfortable — even for those without prior experience.

The route follows a mix of public summer trails and some private tracks, leading you through forests, swamps, meadows, and over rolling fells. This is a true off-the-beaten-path experience, ideal for nature lovers and adventurous explorers.

Wilderness Break with Lappish Snack

Midway through the ride, we’ll stop at a lean-to shelter hidden in the woods. While your guide prepares a fire*, relax and enjoy a snack of:

• Grilled Finnish sausage
• Fresh sandwich with local ingredients
• Hot coffee or traditional berry juice
