Maria is the financial backbone of STG - all invoices, payments and billing questions go through her. But her role goes well beyond the numbers: she is Alexei's right hand behind the scenes. If something gets done, Maria probably had a hand in it.

Katarina is the first face you'll meet at STG and the first voice you'll hear when you have a question about booking. She knows every tour inside out and can help you put together the perfect Levi itinerary in minutes. Behind the scenes, she runs our social media and digital presence. She is also a practicing artist who can capture Lapland´s light, its silence, and its wild beauty on canvas. 

Head of Sales & Partner Relations

Ilya heads our sales team and is the go-to person for travel agents and key partners. He builds and manages our agency network, connects new partners to our booking systems, and creates bespoke private itineraries for VIP clients who want something beyond the standard programme. If you represent a travel agency or are looking to partner with STG, Ilya is your first call.

Groups & Agent Accounts Manager

Ksenia is the person who makes group travel work. She handles all group bookings, travel agent accounts, and private tour requests, coordinating the details so that everything runs seamlessly from first enquiry to last goodbye. If you're planning a trip for 10 or more people, Ksenia is your person.

Experience Guide & Santa's Chief Elf

Oksana has spent years in tourism and it shows in the best possible way. Put her in front of a large group, send her on a long expedition, throw an unexpected problem her way, and she handles it all without breaking a sweat. Everyone gets attention, every detail is accounted for, and somehow she always finds a way out of even the most complicated situations. With Oksana, you simply relax and trust that everything will be fine.

Her mind works at an extraordinary speed and so does her humour. Her jokes arrive before you've even seen them coming, and by the time you've caught up, she's already three steps ahead. 

In our Santa programmes, Oksana is Santa's right hand. Parents, pay attention: she is the one who makes the impossible feel effortless. Your children are in very good hands.

Sam is the kind of guide you'll be talking about long after you've left Levi. His dry English humour, endless patience and quiet attention to detail turn every tour into something that feels less like a programme and more like a day out with a friend who happens to know everything about the Arctic. Sam thinks three steps ahead so you never have to. He leads both private and group experiences and is equally loved by children and adults. If his name keeps coming up in our TripAdvisor and Google reviews, there's a reason for that.

Guide & Lappish Hospitality Specialist

Ada is a true daughter of Lapland - a Finnish girl who seems to have stepped straight out of an Arctic fairytale. Her voice is something unforgettable: soft, unhurried, and deep, the kind you could listen to for hours as she guides you through a snow-covered wilderness.

Ada is also a gifted cook, and in several of our programmes you'll have the chance to taste authentic Lappish delicacies prepared by her hands and served inside a traditional kota. It is a work of art for the eyes and the palate.

In our Santa programmes, Ada is Mrs. Claus's trusted helper, bringing warmth and wonder to every child who walks through the door. You may also catch her at the front desk on occasion. When you do, consider yourself lucky.

He is one of those rare people who can make you fall in love with snow. He built the igloo café and has spent years mastering the art of Arctic construction, wilderness survival, and the quiet science of how snow behaves in extreme cold. Spend an hour with Dmitri and you'll never look at a snowdrift the same way again.

At STG, Dmitri is the creative force and builder behind our Polarman´s Camp and Snow Igloo Park, and our unique Build Your Own Igloo experience. These programmes exist because of him and you won't find anything like them anywhere else. If you're ready to get your hands cold and your mind blown, this is the one not to miss.

Steve is the guide whose laugh you'll hear before you even see him  and once you do, it's impossible not to smile. His warmth is completely genuine, and it sets the tone for everything that follows.

Behind that smile is a guide who thinks three steps ahead at all times. Steve specialises in private tours for discerning guests who expect every detail to be considered before they even think to ask. Nothing is left to chance, no need goes unnoticed, and every guest leaves feeling genuinely looked after, not just guided.

On group tours, Steve sets the standard. His combination of preparation, natural warmth, and quiet professionalism is the kind of thing that turns a good tour into one people talk about for years. If you're lucky enough to have Steve as your guide, you'll know it from the first moment.

Multilingual Experience Guide

Topias is something of a linguistic phenomenon. We've genuinely lost count of how many languages he speaks, and what makes it more remarkable is that every single one is at a level he's not embarrassed by.

Here's a story that says everything about him: one winter season he noticed that many of our guests were coming from Spain. He filed that away, went home, and when he returned seven months later for the next season he could guide in Spanish. Not a few phrases. Actual Spanish, at a working guide level. He'd developed his own method for learning languages and simply got on with it.

He doesn't just communicate, he connects. 

Head Snowmobile Guide & Sami Wilderness Expert

Matti is the real thing. A Finnish Sami, born and raised in Lapland, with reindeer herding in his blood going back generations. He knows this land the way most people know their own home - every trail, every tree line, every hidden viewpoint that doesn't appear on any map.

What makes Matti truly special is that after a lifetime in these forests, he still stops to marvel. The northern lights, a fresh snowfall, the silence of the Arctic wilderness at dawn he notices all of it, every single day, and shares that wonder with every guest he guides. There is no better way to experience Lapland than through the eyes of someone who was born loving it.

Matti leads our snowmobile team as head guide and team lead and in that role, safety and quality are never in question. He will take you to places you would never find alone, at a pace that lets you actually feel where you are. With Matti, you are not on a tour. You are a guest in his homeland.
