The farm is managed by Johanna, her mother, and their team, who have decades of hands-on experience in traditional reindeer herding. With Sámi roots, Johanna honors the heritage of reindeer culture and shares it respectfully with visitors through carefully designed, authentic programs.

The highlight of this visit is a longer reindeer sleigh ride, covering approximately 3 km and lasting around 30 minutes. This extended route gives you more time to immerse yourself in the snowy surroundings, listen to the rhythmic sound of the sleigh gliding over snow, and truly appreciate the peaceful pace of traditional Arctic travel.

After the ride, you’ll have the opportunity to enter the reindeer corral and feed young reindeer calves their favorite delicacy — lichen, a natural Arctic plant they eagerly nibble like candy. This close-up encounter is both safe and memorable, guided by experienced herders who ensure the well-being of both animals and guests.

Your visit concludes in the warmth of the guesthouse, where you’ll enjoy hot drinks and homemade pastries in a cozy atmosphere. A brief presentation on reindeer herding traditions offers insight into the everyday life of a herder and their deep connection with these iconic animals of the North.
