This tour is designed to maximize your chances of seeing the Northern Lights in Lapland by going wherever the skies are clearest — even up to 200 km from Levi center, if needed.

You’ll travel in a comfortable minivan with an experienced local driver, fully equipped to follow the best weather conditions and real-time forecasts. The goal: to reach remote locations with minimal light pollution and unobstructed views of the northern sky — ideal for aurora viewing and photography.

Warm winter clothing suitable for Arctic weather is provided, so you can enjoy the experience without worrying about the cold.

Clouds can make aurora sightings difficult, but our local expertise helps us read the conditions. Cloud layers can vary in thickness, and wind can shift cloud cover rapidly — even on a cloudy night, there is still a chance to catch a glimpse of the aurora through breaks or even thin layers of cloud. Our team combines weather knowledge, patience, and determination to give you the best possible chance of witnessing the Lights.

To help you capture the magic, your driver will bring a professional camera and tripod and take photos of you with the Northern Lights whenever possible. All photos will be processed the next day and delivered via a download link. We also provide free use of phone holders and camera tripods to guests who want to take their own pictures.

During stopovers, enjoy a warm drink and gingerbread cookies under the Arctic sky — a comforting moment in the stillness of Lapland’s wilderness.

        Please note:

        Even a faint visible aurora, whether seen with the naked eye or captured only through a professional camera or night mode smartphone, is considered a successful sighting and does not qualify for a refund.
        This is in line with standard international aurora tour guidelines.

        The intensity and clarity of the Northern Lights can vary based on atmospheric activity and viewing conditions. Our guide uses professional photography equipment to maximize visibility and help document the experience. You’ll receive the edited photos the next day via download link.


        This tour is designed for those who are serious about seeing the Lights and are willing to put in maximum effort. It may involve:

        • Long-distance driving (up to 200 km from Levi) to chase clear skies
        • Walking in snowy or uneven terrain
        • Extended outdoor waiting periods under cold Arctic conditions

        Because of these physical demands, this tour is not recommended for:

        • Families with small children
        • Seniors or people with limited mobility
        • Pregnant guests or individuals with medical conditions


        We monitor local weather and aurora forecasts constantly. If weather conditions change unexpectedly and make it impossible to see the Northern Lights, the tour may be cancelled by our team at any time before departure. In that case, a full refund will be issued.

        Departure & Timing:

        • Departure time will be confirmed no later than 16:00 on the day of the tour.
        • Tour start can vary between 18:00 and 21:00.
        • Return time can range between 23:00 and 03:00, depending on aurora activity and distance driven.
        • We ask guests to be flexible and ready for departure within this window.
