Experience the magical world of snow and ice, enjoy a unique 3-course dinner sat at ice tables and chairs.

Travel time from Levi is about 40 minutes in one direction.

Upon arrival you will proceed straight for the dinner to the ice restaurant. Enjoy a unique and memorable 3-course dinner sat at ice tables and chairs in the beautiful Snow Restaurant sculpted from ice and snow. After the dinner you will have a guided tour around the Snow Village exhibition and experience the magical world of snow and ice. Snow Village is packed with beautifully decorated walls, rooms, sculptures and an ice bar. In the end of the guided tour a warming juice will be served in the ice bar. After that you still have time left to continue exploring the exhibition at your own pace before returning to the bus. The exhibition theme of the snow village changes every year. For two years, 2018 & 2019, it was Game of Thrones, which proved to be very popular and gained lots of media attention worldwide. In the following years, there were Macro World, Futuristic, Around the World, Nordic mythology and Underworld, the coming season will be different.

STARTERS:

  • LAPLAND DELICACIES – The North in its purest form, savory and surprising. Lapland on a plate in form of reindeer, northern fish, small farm cheese, vegetables and berries. Served in a tapas bite size style. L / G
  • CAULIFLOWER SOUP - Apple and Västerbotten cheese (L,G)
  • SCALLOPS - Citrus, green pea, coriander (L,G)

MAINS:

  • REINDEER SERVED TWO WAYS - Smoked lingonberry sauce and cauliflower (L,G)
  • SAUTEED REINDEER - Mashed potatoes, pickled cucumbers and lingonberries (L,G)
  • FRIED PIKE PERCH FROM ARCTIC CIRCLE – Beurre blanc, carrot and mustard seeds (L,G)
  • PUIKULA POTATO GNOCCHI - Spruce tip cream, roasted vegetables and Västerbotten cheese (L,G, vegan version available)
  • LAPLAND HOTEL SALAD - Crispy salad, pickled carrots and red onions, deep fried capers and cucumbers with sesame dressing (M,G). Topping options: Lappish “squeaky cheese” (L,G), Salted Rainbow Trout (M,G)

MAINS for CHILDREN:

  • Sausages with French fries (L,G)
  • Sautéed reindeer & potato purée (L,G)

        • Please note that thermal clothing is not provided for this program. It can be rented separately from the Safarimarket office in Levi center at extra charge.
        • Inside the Snow Village temperature is always around -6° C

          We recommend wearing warm winter clothing. It can be rented separately before the departure from the Safarimarket office in Levi center at extra charge. If you want to rent the clothing, please be at least 20 min before pick up time to get dressed..
