Evening Visit to the Elves Village – Discover the Magic After Dark

Step into the magical evening atmosphere of the Elves Village (Tonttula) in Levi, Finnish Lapland! This self-guided evening experience invites you to explore the hidden world of the elves under the glow of lanterns and the stars — and if you're lucky, even under the Northern Lights.

Your journey begins at Santa’s Visitor Center, where you’ll receive a secret map to guide you through the enchanting Fantasy World of the Elves. The trails are lit and peaceful, offering a calm and magical setting for couples, families, and curious wanderers alike.

As you follow the Elves’ Path, you'll discover the Elves Hideaway — a collection of charming, hidden huts once kept secret from humankind. Explore the Santa’s Mountain House, Santa’s new home, the Gingerbread House, the Elf School, and the Wise Elf’s House, all beautifully lit and open for admiration from outside and in.

Don’t miss the Seita Stone, the mystical entrance to the underground kingdom of elves, goblins, forest people, and magical creatures — where peace, respect, and cooperation thrive. You're welcome to enter and feel the ancient magic within.

Wander through the authentic Lappish courtyard of Tonttula and peek into the elves’ storehouses, the Temple, and the Blacksmith’s workshop — each rich in rustic Arctic charm.

If the snow conditions are right, the toboggan slide is open — and you're invited to experience the thrill of sledding under the evening sky.

Inside Santa’s Visitor Center, it's Christmas every day! The Elf Shop is stocked with beautiful souvenirs and handcrafted gifts, perfect for taking the magic home with you.

      • Visit inside Santa’s home and related guided content
      • Reindeer farm visit (viewable from the outside only)

        Registration

        Registration for the evening program takes place at the Visitor Center in Elves Village, where our staff will introduce the experience and give you the Secret Map of Tonttula to guide your self-paced journey through the magical Fantasy World.

        Please Note:

        • While evening conditions are often favorable, we cannot guarantee sightings of the Northern Lights.
        • We strongly recommend dressing warmly and appropriately for the weather, as this is an outdoor experience.
        • This is a self-guided program and does not include interactive activities such as gingerbread baking, Elf School crafts, or reindeer feeding. These are available only in other program versions.
        • Children remain the responsibility of their guardians at all times.
        • We reserve the right to make adjustments to the program or pricing if necessary.

        *Transportation

        Transportation from Levi is not included in the price of our tour.
        Private transportation can be added separately during the booking process. Prices are given per car for return transfer:

        Minivan (1-8 pers) - 100€,  Sprinter (9-19 pers) - 250 €, Coach (20-53 pers) - 400 €

        Please note: Thermal clothing is not provided as part of this program.

        If needed, warm winter clothing can be rented separately from Safarimarket in Levi center.

        What to bring

          We recommend wearing warm winter clothing. It can be rented separately before the departure from the Safarimarket office in Levi center.
