Levi fells and forest on e-fatbike with a guide (3-4h), Levi
Summer-Autumn 24.06 - 30.10 & Winter 20.11 - 31.3. A guided e-fatbike trip to nature protected area
Season: Winter (20.11–31.03) & Summer–Autumn (24.06–30.10)
The tour begins with a pickup from Levi and a short transfer to the starting point at the edge of the wilderness. There, your guide will help you with bike and helmet fitting, followed by brief riding and safety instructions. Once everyone is ready, the adventure begins! After the ride, we return to the same departure point, and you’ll be transferred back to Levi village center.
During Summer-Autumn season:
Join us for a guided electric fatbike adventure through the serene wilderness surrounding Kätkä and Pyhä fells. This 24 km circular route offers a fantastic mix of forest trails, marshlands, fell foothills, and lake views — ideal for both beginners and more experienced riders.
Along the way, you’ll ride through duckboard-covered bogs, quiet meadows, and scenic hilltops with views over Aakenus and Kätkä fells. A highlight includes riding along the peaceful shores of Lake Immeljärvi as you make your way back to Levi village.
The trail profile is varied with gentle climbs, moderate uphills and fun descents. You’ll stop at one of the beautiful lean-to shelters (laavu) for a scenic break with warm drinks and a view. If you're lucky, you might spot local wildlife like reindeer or the elusive Siberian jay.
During Winter season:
Our route lies through snowy forests, frozen marshes, and along the foothills of the majestic Kätkä Fell. A 15 km route is specially selected for its natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere — perfect for active adventurers looking for an authentic off-the-beaten-path experience.
A highlight of this activity is exclusive access to our own private winter biking trails — built and maintained by us from the early winter season. Thanks to this, we can offer electric fatbiking throughout the entire winter season, starting as early as mid-November. These quiet, snow-packed trails take you deep into untouched wilderness without other bikers, offering true Arctic solitude.
The route follows a private road and continues along the private nature trails crossing frozen bogs, open marshland, and silent forests, with the magnificent Kätkä Fell rising alongside. With a bit of luck, you may spot Lapland wildlife, including reindeer, white-coated hares, snow grouse, foxes, or even deer. You’ll stop at some scenic nature spots for a break with warm drinks and a view.
You’ll ride a Helkama FE12 electric fatbike, Finnish-made for Arctic terrain and equipped with a powerful 708Wh battery — making long distances and changing elevations feel effortless.
Note: Minimum height for riding electric fat bikes: 150 cm
